The Saturn version also has extra transparencies and little bits of animation and if I remember correctly, some extra touches here and there.

I'm a fan of the look of the PC-98 version, but I generally lean towards the PS1/Saturn versions in terms of art work. It just feels more polished. That being said, some art didn't need polishing, and I'm uncertain why they changed it. The 3DO version is closer to the original PC-98 art in a number of scenes too, noticeably demonstrated by Chris Goldwin's appearance in the scene with Tokugawa and Toscanini: She looks like an old junkie in the PC-98 version, slightly better on the 3DO (although obviously based on the same art), before being redrawn with a younger looking face and more perky breasts in the later versions.

OMG finally! I played the translated PSX version on my PS2, but was always curious about the Saturn version. I wish I had money and mad soldering skills to play it on my Saturn! The next option would be to play it on Yabause. Has anyone tried it yet? I'm going to go that route for now, until I can get my system modded.

Why Yabause, can't your PC handle SSF?

I don't have a Windows machine, just a Macbook with a Core2Duo processor running OS X and Ubuntu.

what? you don't need any soldering skills to play on saturn. just put a tape over the cd-lid connector.

You are either a very arrogant solderer or just a guy who's completely out of touch with reality.

Even if one is not good at it right away, should take barely any time and effort to get it down. Especially with so much quick pointers at how to do anything well on this thing called, oh I don't know, the internet. (Though careful, lots of people doing instructional videos and such on things they're totally incompetent themselves at too. Like when I looked up how to most effectively and efficiently put on a PSP screen protector, so I wouldn't have to waste any at failed attempts considering how unnecessary pricey these thin sheets of plastic covers are. And this person totally messed it up with bubbles everywhere, yet this is the video she decided to upload? So yeah, just roll your eyes at these people for wasting your time, research some others that actually show some competence and respect for your free time, then apply everything you've learned + some of your own hunches, and good luck. It's not like everything in life is like learning to land a plane).

Now if you've got shaky hands or something, then yeah, just get someone with steadier hands to do it for you.

FYI There's a difference between soldering a wire to a Colecovision and a PS4, so yeah soldering is a skill.

the more you master the skill the more you can do with it, so saying "is it a skill?" is like making fun of top chefs
because you quickly figured out how to boil an egg so cooking isn't a skill for you.

You seriously had to make a big stink out of this? Whatever, I've got something else I should be doing right now anyway. I'll let you worry about it.

Uh it'll take more than putting a tape over the lid connector. I think I might try to temporarily "sacrifice" my pro action replay with the atlas software.

Is the Stunner gameplay like the Justifier gameplay on SegaCD? I wasn't too impressed by the SegaCD's lightgun sections.
