I'm assuming you haven't even watched the show, forgetting the fandom, the show itself is actual quality for an animated TV show in this day and age. It's better than pretty much any animated show on TV right now (though I do like Adventure Time and Regular Show bout the same). There's a reason why people love it, and it's not like Nickeloadeon is gonna provide better animated shows. I suggest that you give the show an honest chance.
I agree. Both bronies and sonicfags can be annoying, but sonicfags are consistently more annoying that bronies. I have a friend in real life who is a brony and isn't weird or annoying about it at all. but sonicfags are pretty much always weirdo pervs from what I've seen. Weirdo perverted bronies seem to be part of a small niche within the group of "normal" bronies. while weirdo perverted sonicfags seem to be more widespread, as in a larger percentage of sonicfags are actually fags.
Actually, doctor who fans are much more annoying than bronies. Why does everyone seem to overlook that?
I was randomly shown MLP FIM by a friend and I loved it, but I had no idea there was a fandom. Then I discovered there was a fandom and I was a bit surprised, but less surprised because I already knew the show was actually good. I showed the show to my friends and they all thought it was good, and they learned about the brony fandom and they didn't think it was too weird considering the show was good. Also one of my friends turned out to be a brony before I even told him about it. None of my friends are too annoying or too weird either, and yet a few of them are bronies. Also, most bronies hate/are against the weirdos of the fandom, unlike the Sonicfag club in which they're pretty much all people who recolor official Sonic art to be "original" or worse.
Also, haven't seen much of Doctor Who fans, everyone attacks bronies because "ITS A SHOE FO LITLE GURLS!" and apparently no matter how much time or effort is put into something or how any age friendly it is, it's MAIN target is the ONLY one allowed to like it. But what I find a bit weird is that people on a video game forum are attacking it, I say that because I find it odd that a SHOW for younger audiences can't be good but a game like McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure (FUCKING LOVE THAT GAME) can be damn good. I mean, it's not like hardcore gamers can't enjoy Kirby's Dreamland because it's meant for beginners. It's not like if a company like Treasure makes a child's game it's automatically shit. If you have good people behind it, it can be good.
Sure, intended for all ages of girls... But it's still weird and unnatural for a guy to willingly watch it, buy the DVDs, collect the merchandise and post about it on forums.
Of course, in this modern society of acceptance, there's nothing stopping you from being into that sort of thing... But just don't expect normal people to accept it as normal behavior.
You know, who cares if somebody watches my little pony our some other fucking show in the privacy of their own home? It's like Stu chasing MrSega around all over the internet but on a much larger scale. It's fucking retarded.
