Okay, NOW the topic is in danger of being completely derailed.

That's not derailing, that's debating in a discussion.

You however brought up something completely unrelated in an attempt to get a rise out of another member to instigate a fight. That's derailing, flamebaiting, and trolling.

You can't derail the merry-go-round of broken dreams, MrSega. You're stuck on it forever, as shown by your delusional arguments.

I was going to say we could add this thread to a list of threads MrSega has ruined, but considering it's his own thread I'm not sure if that counts.

Someone call up Trip Hawkins and Bernie Stolar. They need to mate, spawn the ultimate CEO, bring EA back to it's former glory, buy Sega, kill Sega, and release the 3DOrbi with 4k/120FPS 16-bit killing graphics that will save the gaming industry for all of the retarded and ostentatious, self-entitled consumers that make up the gaming community.

I thought this was a nice place to post the following article. Will EA win the title for the worst company in America? If you click on the URL link below, there is a nice chart showing how the voting is panning out. I couldn't psot it here because the image is just too big. Coincidentlly I have a nice bottle of Johnny Walker just aching to be uncorked! EA you have my support (... to win the tarnished brass crown! Hardy har har har! )

    TITLE:
Here Are Your Contestants For The 2013 Worst Company In America Tournament!

    SOURCE: CONSUMERIST

    URL LINK: http://consumerist.com/2013/03/18/he...ca-tournament/

    ARTICLE:
After sorting through a record number of nominations from you, the readers of Consumerist, we’ve spent the last few days culling that massive list down to the 32 businesses deemed most worthy of vying for the title of Worst Company In America 2013!
    FAMILIAR NAMES

The overwhelming majority (75%) of the companies set to do battle in the WCIA Bath of Blood are repeat offenders from last year, including the 2012 champ, video game giant Electronic Arts.

No Golden Poo winner has ever repeated, but considering the timing of EA’s most recent stumbles, we can only assume the company really wants a second trophy to match the one it’s already received. But in order to do so, it will need to get through some formidable competition, like Bank of America, which has taken home the Silver Poo as runner-up for the last two years, and which inherited Countrywide Financial’s earlier win.

Other notable returners include 2012′s third-place finisher AT&T, perennial semifinalist Ticketmaster, former champ Comcast, scourge of the independent e-tailer PayPal, and Sallie Mae, a name that seems to be on the dartboard of most people trying to repay their student loans.

    READY-TO-RUMBLE ROOKIES

For the last two years, first-time WCIA contenders (EA and BP) have managed to outsuck the field of Worst Company veterans and walk away triumphant. Could one of the members of this year’s freshman class make this a true trend?

Could Carnival immortalize its “Poop Cruise” in the form of a goldish-colored poo statue? Has JCPenney’s bumpy turnaround given it enough of a push to take a shot at retailers that have been horrible for a lot longer? Will Anheuser-Busch just acquire all of its competitors in order to win by default?

Starting tomorrow, we’ll be posting two to three WCIA bouts per day. Voting will only be open for three hours for each poll.

    UPDATES:

Here are the results of the completed matches so far –

    FIRST ROUND

Time Warner Cable (79%) vs. Cablevision (21%)
Walmart (58%) vs. Best Buy (42%)
    DirecTV (56%) vs. Dish (44%)
Sallie Mae (53%) vs. PayPal (47%)
    Facebook (89%) vs. Google (11%)
Chase (51%) vs. Wells Fargo (49%)
Spirit (59%) vs. American Airlines (41%)

Hey you never know for Black Ops 6 you'll probably be playing as Alex Mason's great great great grandson and he'll be shooting little green men from outer space, but the developers will still have an excuse to roll out the reanimated corpse of Frank Woods so that he can cuss lots and act like a tough dude.

Having different studios just means that they can pump out a " new" game every year in order to keep their shareholders happy. But you keep enjoying COD, I'm sure Bobby Kotick is proud of your defense of his company.
I think by this it's pretty clear you never play the games. also they don't need 2 studios to keep shareholders happy, ea sells just as much of madden every year with the same studio.

Unfortunately, I think EA's problems still are far greater than a single man....

Actually you'd be quite wrong on your 1st assertion. I used to enjoy the COD games on the PC quite a lot, I played a lot of both COD and COD2 on PC (skipped COD3 though - didn't seem much better than the previous 2). The last COD game I felt offered a different, new experience was the original Modern Warfare and I enjoyed that, but the MW sequels seem to be no better than the original and just more of the same, therefore I've not bothered with them, in fact it seems to me that since Modern Warfare was such a huge hit that Activision has focused more on cynically exploiting the game's popularity than innovating with the game. I actually bought the original Black Ops 2nd hand for $10, hoping to see something new and played through it, but for me the COD games have gone stale, just like the Medal of Honor series. Each to their own though.

My point on Activision using 2 different studios to keep shareholders happy is that the shareholders demand that there be a Call of Duty game each year so using a "tick/tock" process they have 2 separate studios working alternatively on a game and make sure that every holiday buying season that there is a new COD game for the masses to lap up, they aren't employing the strategy for creative reasons, but for cynical money making reasons. Hope they're looking around for a new cash cow to replace COD once people start to abandon the series, like the masses did with Medal of Honor.

That's the actual post from Clumsy, but if you backtrack from there you can see some pretty hilarious stuff.

As Clumsy said in the post I just linked, the problem wasn't speculation, as that thread is still alive and well. The problem was you were stating system specs, prices, and release dates without any facts to back it up. And when people called BS on it, you lashed out at them. You were basically misleading people and Clumsy saw a possible problem that needed stopped before it spun out of control.

And you need to go reread the post he made about the AAA games. Someone made a poll that said "Should Sega make mobile Games or AAA games?" and Clumsy's reply was "Why not Both?".

Thats hilarious, typical MrSega. I got a another question, PM sent.
