I had only mild interest for this on the PC, and it turns out my Mac wouldn't even run it. After reading middling reviews, my enthusiasm waned quite a bit. A friend also said it was pretty uninspired.
I might pick this up on PS3 once it gets to the $20 mark.
Maybe holding out on the PC game wasn't a bad decision. I'd rather play something like this while sitting on the couch.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
I'd like to pick this up for PS3. Didn't get to play the PC version, so I'd like my chance.
Reviews in the pipeline:
Choplifter (Master System and SG-1000)
Ys: The Vanished Omens with FM Sound Patch!
Looks like fun. They put out the first one on PS1 and I played it a few times, it was good. I've never been much of a PC gamer so I'm glad they're bringing this back to consoles.
I'd rather play Torchlight 2 on consoles.
Diablo 3 streamlined way to much. It was not done when they released it on PC, very disappointing and not worth 60$
Same here. I stopped playing games at my computer some time ago. I would rather play on my couch on the tv, or on a handheld. For some reason, I've never gotten into computer gaming, outside of the first Diablo and Starcraft (which I played A LOT).
That was my impression (that it was not done when they released it, which is amazing considering the amount of time it was rumored to be in development). I don't mind it being streamlined as I'm just looking for some simple hack-and-slash action, but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for this.
