    What were all the chips you replaced? Looks like there's other RAM chips on that board. The best solution would be to use a logic probe to check the RAM chips and see if any of them act funny. Just reference a verified working RAM chip, either on that X'Eye or on another Genesis. Otherwise, you might end up replacing all the RAM chips and still get nowhere.

    Really? Who was the previous owner? I don't recall the 1145 being a picky encoder.

    The 1145 was simply shorted out, I had to replace it.

    Did this X'Eye ever get back in working order? I know the X'Eye aren't easy to come by, I've never seen one in person. Oh one more thing can the X'Eye run the 32X add on?

    No I'm still working in this. I plan to try to recap it tomorrow and see what happens. I do believe that it will work with the 32x.

    X32?

    The Sega 32X works fine on an X'Eye. The only issue would be if you wanted to change discs with the 32X attached.

    So no disk flipping with the 32X installed.

    lum i would still like to find a fix for the master system problem on the x eye. theres got to be a trace or two that are not connected.

    I have no idea. It affects only roms anyway.
