the best game they ever did, was full throttle
I bought Full Throttle some time ago, haven't played it yet... Is it really that good?
Mindless fun is one thing, I can let a casual gamer's enjoyment slide. "Amazing Action games" is a different thing entirely, and puts these games up against Strider, Revenge of Shinobi, Ninja Spirit and Shinobi III. All of the Super Star Wars games and Jedi Powers Battles fall very far short of that standard. Jedi Powers Battles plays virtually identically to the other tepid movie tie ins from the time or later, such as the Lego series and first Bayformers game. Constant unavoidable hits makes for a bad action game, or Strider Returns is also an "Amazing Action Game." :/

oh yes. it's their best adventure game for sure. even better than monkey island. it actually has a really good story(more mature, but still humor), terrific music, atmosphere. pls try it. I first played it in 1995 and was blown away by it. recently I played it again and it hasn't lost anything
The X-Wing series was developed by Totally Games (who still exist iirc), and they also did Secret Weapons over Normandy for Lucas Arts. The teams that made several of the major graphic adventures left years ago and formed Telltale Games. And then there's the awesome Factor 5 Lucas Arts published games.(unfortunately, Factor 5 is no more . . . )
Umm, Disney? And they may very well continue using the LA label for publishing, jut no internal studios specifically tied to it.I wonder who will get to license the older games onto newer platforms in the future? Man, I hope it isn't EA....
This also doesn't mean the collaboration with existing 3rd party partners will grind to a halt either . . . and that may include more sequels and remakes from Telltale too.
Someone needs to find that prototype...![]()
I just wish someone would make a few more KOTOR games, and I'm not talking about that TOR MMO crap either.
Both of those games (and previous Jedi Knight games) are great games, glad they released the source code for them. Its just they might not be able to use anything that consists of the star wars IP.

RIP, but as far as I'm concerned, they never topped the original Maniac Mansion. Even though they knew how to make atmospheric games, anything that came after it never felt as alive and dynamic, even the sequel. Day of the Tentacle may have been neat and funny and all, but in the end it was a bog-standard adventure game without the complexity of the original game.
