    This is just one example:

Top picture is without that Sony AV selector. Pretty clean visuals via XMD-3 S-Video.

Bottom pic is with the XMD-3 connected via the switcher device.
Notice the very visible vertical lines right across the screen. You can easily see it, especially on the "Popful Mail" lettering.

    Poppuru! My fave

I thought that said XRGB at first but now I see it's different. That's an odd effect though.

I have owned 3 different auto switching units, the first one I bought http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001E1...pi=SL500_SX125, the second one I owned was a generic auto switching unit, it was junk. The damn thing had a mind of. Its own and would switch to a different input on its own. This is the one I own now http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003D0EESI .

I do like the auto switching units, I do like the manual ones better. The first was taken out from a power surge, the second one was junk, the one I have now so far works great.

Here is my trusty ole GE composite switch http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0007UEEDM i bought it a few months before my first auto switcher, I have absolutely no issues with it (it was hooked up when the first auto switcher got fragged).
