SEGA is the Messiah of Console Gaming.
In July 2013, Exactly 164 months after Dreamcast launched, something BIG will happen at SEGA. Which is "ORBI" the world.
All the NAYSAYERS will be silenced forever when Orbi get's its "Notice of Allowance".

Sega released a tablet like device years ago and almost nobody gave a fuck.

It was a portable developed by Sega of Europe. Under Mike Hayes tenure. Because it recieved little distribution, it was forgotten almost immediately.
Thank God, they fired Mike Hayes. Although he gave SOE success as a publisher, he didn't give two shits about Sega of America and left them to rot. He also was planning on fully supporting the Wii U and like Jeffery, crushed all SEGA fans dreams for new hardware. It makes perfect sense why SEGA fired him last year.
Come to think of it, it has been quite a long time since SEGA's been asked straight out if they have plans to return to hardware. 3 years to be exact.
I bet everyone here, if Jurgen Post were asked that, unlike Jeffery & Hayes he won't deny it, but rather attempt to dodge the question, change the subject or answer with a "No Comment" or "I won't discuss that".

For the last time, IT'S NOT THE DAMN COLOR!
The FONT is wrong. The truth of the matter is that Sega's logo has never EVER looked like what's in this fake ad. Look at the A, look very VERY closely. Notice that the triangular hole in the middle is freaking huge compared to Sega's real logo. Go back and look through out their logo history, that part of the A has always been consistent.
Look carefully at the A in the "Let's Go Island" ad you posted, it's not like the one in the fake ad at all. The Triangular hole is smaller, and the inner line doesn't connect either. In fact the only time you see that happen with the inner line of the A is when it's in a game and it's being done due to resolution constraints.

I did find the Sega Nerds blog entry who stated "Sega News Net" as their source who turn claimed that the image had been up on the net for a few days. But there aren`t any articles on it before the 15. Sega News Net even accused it of either being another Zach Morris hoax or some random message.
http://www.seganerds.com/2013/04/15/...sega-spectrum/
http://mobile.segadatabase.net/?p=1622
Sega News net was unable to find the source of where it might have came from.
If this were somehow fake, then I`d to wonder why after all this time when any Japanese Sega speculation and fanmade propaganda is rarer than a blue moon, would someone in Japan start an elaborate hoax? What is behind the message? "A new form of entertainment" what the hell does that mean?
Also, how much trouble would he have gone through to make the "Spectrum" logo that I simply cannot find ANYWHERE on the internet? How in the hell did he find them and how on earth did he manage to successfully crop the JTO "TM" icon in BOTH of the images?
There is certainly a one in a 2 billion chance that some non Japanese person somehow who could completely write in the alphabet with a Japanese PC typed in the message in full Japanese characters and was somehow able to photoshop it.
Again, we don't know its fake. All we know is that the image has been floating around for a week and that it appears to have originated from Japan. The Sega logo is cropped but its a longshot from being. proven a hoax. Because the original source and the TM logos cannot be located.
It would be unethical to say that I`m not good at tracking hoaxes. Because I do a pretty damn good job.
All the youtube DC2 material has always been admitted fanmade stuff. Nobody ever called it legit.
The RingEdge stuff was interesting, but at the time there wasn't any way to connect the dots since SEGA hadn't filed the paperwork to license hardware again yet.
The "Kids Pad" is/was a legit trademark which was proof that SEGA had/has something in development. The Tablet rumors started based on that alone.
I was able to catch fanmade hoaxes being passed off as legit. "Sega Voyager" was about the dumbest thing I had ever heard in my life. Or how in 2010, someone kept claiming he had a RingEdge console prototype. It only took 2 more YT PMs for me to realize I was being trolled by some kid.
The "Sonic Dimensions" Wii U hoax was utterly hilarious. It immediately screamed Nintendo fanboy orgy. I knew it was fake right after reading its details. I had a good laugh along with Iizuka when he shot it down.
"Sonic Propel" was even more outlandish. People were basing it on some random Reddit post by some moron trying to pass himself off as Japanese by typing in broken english.
The Sonic Adventure 3 "3.3.13" image was as fake and predictable as they come. You wouldn't' believe how many Sonic fans almost fell for it.
For now as it stands I'm going to conclude the possibly of the legitimacy of this mark based on this percentage and then I'll leave the discussion completely alone for now: Chances of it being a legit JTO brand that's not yet recorded by the US Gov Trademark Office who's image was posted by someone at Sega. 80%. If it is recorded, this will be the only way to confirm its legitimacy.
Chances of it being some rare, elaborate Japanese hoax by some Japanese with too much time on their hands who somehow made up the Logo designs and was able to Photoshop the JTO "TM"icons? 10%. Based on one small poorly cropped Sega logo.

I won't call them reputable sites, they're more fansites than anything; I was thinking something mainstream like Kotaku or IGN.
And at it being photoshopped: very easy to believe this is a fake. People have done far more elaborate stunts to fool people; e.g. the Sonic 1 Beta hoax a year or so back. Some guy created a whole fan game from scratch just to trick people into believing he had the Beta. So yeah, I can believe this one image is doctored/fake. Easily.
News flash, Japan has trolls too.
It's not that hard to do. The logo isn't anything elaborate (it's just 4 colored squares), and you can easily copy paste a TM icon in MS Paint.
It's not that hard to do at all. All you need to do is install the Japanese IME onto ANY windows PC and you can type in Japanese. How do you think us silly gaijin's play on the Japanese PSU and PSO2 servers?
In fact, just writing out "A new world of Entertainment" into Google translate gives you this:
エンターテイメントの新たな世界
Which is exactly what is written in that flyer.
