As for the games? I'm sorry to say that i only played the first Metal Gear Solid for the Psx back in the day. Even though i loved it, for whatever reason---- I never bothered to play any of the others.

I just wished Konami would port MGS4 (and 1+VR!) to the 360, but that's not going to happen. When the PS3 gets a little more cheaper, I'll be picking up this collection.

I don't like collection packages. Seems cheap, like a "greatest hits" album or something. Would rather hunt down each individually.

keep in mind that this is the first and only oppertunity for a lot of gamers to get to play the older metal gears other then mgs 4
not all gamers these days have ps 2 consoles or a psp even

Hehe....I've only ever played MGS 3. I absolutely loved it, and yet have inexplicably not ever gotten around to playing any other game in the series. It's one of those strange personal gaming mysteries that doesn't appear to make a lick of sense.

Not really, if anything this is just last year's Metal Gear Solid HD Collection bundled with part 4 and the PSN versions of 1+VR, for a cheaper price.
