    Default Bio-Hazard Battle

I've always been a fan of shmups. Good for me, the Genesis platform has tons of them to choose from. (the shmup roundup feature on this website is AWESOME) However, I've been pretty unimpressed with most offerings in general. In contrast to other genres like platformers and run 'n gun games, the shooters fall way flat in the graphics department. In addition, most of them fall flat on most other aspects as well, especially speed/intensity. The production values just dont seem to be there.

TF4/LF is the god of the genesis, and MUSHA is very, very nice. But even games that get critical acclaim don't impress me much (Fire Shark).

Well I just came across Bio-Hazard Battle while reading the feature. I have to say, I actually like this game a lot. It has great graphics and the gameplay seems novel and fun, and its fast-paced. Its also not too hard, which I count as a positive thing. Sound is weird but pretty entertaining. Darn it, I'm just having a blast playing it.

Does anyone else dig this obscure title like I do?
Think your shooter is better? Tell me why!

I also enjoy this game..... don't here too much about it. I think it's fairly underated and overlooked.

    That's my opinion

I'll get this game someday I hope. My Genesis collection is nearing completeness I think. Completeness for what I personally want, anyway.

I don't like the game terribly much, soley because it doesn't have an auto fire feature if i remember correctly. I rather not mash the button every single time i have to fire.

I've had this game in my collection for a good six-months, however, as of yet, I haven't even taken it out of the box.
