(and with the way the sprite mechanics work, you end up having Mecha Sonic blowing up Robotnik rather than Egg-Robo in that fight . . . and blue Knuckles instead of Tails showing up)


Oh, that, and I just like the character design better than Metal Sonic . . . looks cooler in general, more menacing.
I used to love messing around with debug, I remember the day I stumbled upon the fact it allowing you to play that level as Sonic, good times.
