Hey, my game gear recently got a few issues: the screen needed to be set to an extreme level/angle to see but worked great. This devolved to a black screen with white lines and no sound. Then with jostling, I was able to see the screen (I moved brightness all the way down then to all the way up, then I was able to see, albeit at an odd angle, but no sound and the buttons were completely unresponsive.

Thinking it was a capacitor issue, I bought a lot that included all capacitors for all different models for GG, so I removed the old ones and put in the new ones, but now it won't even turn on.

Also, I'm not sure if you can see it well, but there's what appears to be foil coming out of the bottom of the AC adaptor port (the part on the board).IMG_20130514_203940.jpg Should that be there?
