You can use the Gamepad like a home tablet, very useful for YouTube and web surfing, which is what I've been mostly using it for ever since I completed New Super Mario U at 100%. Still waiting for Rayman, Pikmin 3 and all the other great games that were announced.

Me as a Wii casual customer: No thanks. My high speed Android does a better job at playing smartphone apps and my family is happy with our Wii Sports. I'm not upgrading for $300+. Plus the touch screen controller feels broken, why can't it do multi touch when my Android controller can with no problem? (Sees Xbox 360 for $99) Say,this looks dirt cheap and has a great Eye Toy like feature. Plus the graphics look the same as that Wii Upgrade but its super cheaper? Sold!

Er, and uh. Well if you buy this I get commission and I can feed my kids. Do you like it when children are hungry? Fine, go buy that 360 or PS3 with hundreds of more games that run a lot better, and can be bought used for cheaper than most WiiU titles, see if I care.
