Wii U fixes split screen problem, Xbox One increases split screen problem.
"Now you can check your fantasy team right on the TV without picking up another device." "Still supports Xbox Glass for iPhone"
That's silly!!
When all is said and done, MS will regain some lost faith at E3 with gamers, IMO, however the fact that they did a first reveal and shunned gamers like that is clearly a sign to where they place gaming on their list.
The battle for the living room is stupid, MS cannot possibly win it because very soon Samsung and the rest of the TV manufacturers will implement most of these features in the device you already have to own; the TV itself. Already my 2 year old TV plays any format I throw at it via USB, it connects to my router and can access Hulu, Netflix, and anything on the net, and it works with the same damn remote. New TV's have camera's built in so it will be easy to implement Skype and everything else gesture-based, in fact that's already happening with the new LG's and Sammys.
The battle for the living room is already over and the TV wins it.
On top of that expect Apple to release a TV very soon, it will most likely have the current AppleTV box integrated. Then there's Google TV. That's big competition right there.
MS expects people to buy a device which is big, and it has another component on top of that. Then it only works if it's always on and they said it will do spot checks to see what's happening in your living room, all this while connected to the net?
An always-on camera connected to the internet in my living room? No thanks.
Now there's also still no real clarification about the biggest questions the market was asking, and it's weaker than the PS4.
Sony needs a decent E3, MS needs the best E3 ever in history.
MS should have shown off a GAMING console, that's who was watching their reveal in any case. They then should have said "and it can do all this other cool TV stuff" and they should have let their core customers drive the TV stuff into the market. Now all they did was piss off their core market who are spreading mostly bad stuff.

I'm looking at this page and having a hard time recalling the last 360 exclusive I got. Maybe it was Alan Wake, which came to Windows eventually. The XBox is just not that interesting of a platform if you're not into Halo. It never was. Many people moved to the 360 because of Sony's arrogance with the PS3, or simply as a cheaper PC for gaming.
Fortunately many of the better XBLA exclusives eventually received Windows ports. Most recently it was Dust: An Elysian Tail
GameShit is awesome. The people who really get burnt by GS are the ones who treat it like a extended rental service with all of the new releases. A lot of smaller city's like where I live would have no place for quality selection of games or consoles if it weren't for a corporate store like GS covering all the ground, and yes B&M >>>>> buying online. So yeah, I've defended GameShit for years, they've saved me boatloads of time and money in the current games market.
Not always! Here's an example: When there were PSP Limited Editions featured, GameStop would put a "display copy" on the shelf, completely open and disassemble the inside parts, to leave the nice LE display box and/or plastic case manhandled and beat up from customer handling. The inside parts would be covered in greasy fingerprints and wear as well. This wasn't just one GameStop. Here's the kicker, they still charge it at "NEW" price for that condition.
I've never had that problem buying new direct from Amazon.
*Edit* GameStop does the same for "NEW" standard edition games if it's the last copy in the store. They give you the tattered display box with the big ass price sticker on it, shove a mishandled disc in there, and call it "NEW".

Haven't done business with GameShit since 2006. I walked in one day to pick up Sonic Riders, and the woman didn't know shit about video games. Left and vowed NEVER to do business with them ever again.
To those defending GS, you should watch Silent Rob's rant. He worked there for 3 years and saw so much shit go down. He was even punched in the face by a customer over Madden. GOTDAMN Madden!

^ Very true. This is the sort of stuff that makes me avoid GameStop. Sometimes I used to get lucky and occasionally get a good experience, but I should not have to get lucky!

Pretty damn sad because before 2006 they were still a pretty decent dealer and had people that knew about video games.(The only problem I had before then was the some of the games were sold in poor shape.)
It was 2006 when they went to shit. After buying out EB Games in America.

Gamestop doesn't deserve all of the blame. The company wants to make money. No one forces people to sell their games at such an establishment for pennies on the dollar when there are other outlets available in which to buy and sell games that is mutually beneficial for both parties. Of course the business practices of GS are shady and maniacal but people continue going there to trade in their games or buy games for asinine prices. It's as if they don't realize they are being raped or enjoy it.
well some times its just the path of least resistance
you got a stack fo games and want to get rid off them but its a leap of faith to put them on ebay
they might get sold or they may not and they never get all sold at once
most people just take the hit and flog them to gamestop to be rid off them

Then don't complain if GS "screws" you on a trade-in value. Other outlets are there but people choose not to use them. There's only one person to blame in that situation.
Easy money is not always the smart money.
