"You" is a general term referring to those who remain a customer of GS even with it's questionable policies then bitch when their three day old $59.99 game is only worth $20.00 in trade. GS doesn't have a reason to change a thing as long as people give it patronage. For the life of me I can't understand how impatient people can be that online auction sites are not a viable alternative. All you need is a post office, an internet connection and some patience and your money will increase substantially.

I take it that you haven't ran into eBay trolls then. Who really wants to deal with all that crap, its one out of many reasons I will not sell anything on eBay. I'd rather take a hit and trade in or get less then to be dicked around. Its not due to being impatient, its about not wanting to deal with a bunch of BS.

Solution: Only buy from sellers who have a good reputation.

I've sold many a game on Ebay w/o any problems and I've purchased quite a few without even a minor hiccup. Watch who you are dealing with and you'll be fine unless you prefer being bent over by GS.

GameStop can kiss my natural black ASS. There are FAR better game dealers even those of the mom and pop variety that offer SUPERIOR trade in values and have better game selection than GameShit. Here in Texas, we've got GameWorld,GamesPlus, 3D Games, Movie Exchange all 50Xs better than GS.

I buy all of my used modern games on CL. The seller gets more than he would from a trade in or pawnshop and I get a game cheaper than what GS sales.

I don't give two shits about Gamestop's management or their shareholders. But this is bad news for small retailers. It's only natural progression that content providers want to lock down as much of their products as possible. Everyone else does it. Gaming is not a crucial sector, say compared to medicine, but people can fight back with their wallets since they're hardly a captive market. Good luck with that however.

I think it will ultimately hurt new game sales. People won't be so quick to throw money at a game they're not sure about if they can't trade it in for something else.

Since you can't rent games and can't sell/trade in Xbox One games. They are going to HAVE TO have a demo for each and every retail game available before or on day one. That will be thee ONLY saving grace! Maybe even preselect the upcoming demos, so they can download in the background and when the console is in standby mode. So it will be ready and waiting for you to play.

But still all that really sucks! And I'm not getting One (pun intended) for a very very long time. The one game would change it all for me would be the upcoming Thief game. And I hope it eventually gets a Wii U port. Even then, I know it's coming out for PS4. But I was never happy with my PS3... And love my Xbox 360. So I'll be at a stand still on these consoles for quite some time.
