Somebody in Microsoft's marketing department just watched The Matrix and decided that the Xbox was "the One". Probably sounded especially brilliant after smoking one or two joints. Upon bootup, the Xbox One will say "I know kung fu" in Keanu Reeves' voice.

    Repped.
SEGA is the Messiah of Console Gaming.

In July 2013, Exactly 164 months after Dreamcast launched, something BIG will happen at SEGA. Which is "ORBI" the world.

All the NAYSAYERS will be silenced forever when Orbi get's its "Notice of Allowance".

    I felt the same way.

Sad thing is not even the pre rendered stuff was omg mind blowing.

Remember when you first saw gears of war in 2005 or killzone 2 (target render). That was a Take my Money! Moment.

    This? Meh.

And what's with the huge deal with that COD Ghost and that moving out of the way fish when you get too close Tech?
Pretty sure my aquarium screen saver has been doing that since early 2000's....

    BTW,

Can somebody explain to me why they decided to show off the Halo live series in a hardware reveal as if it was one of its features? We need a XBOX One to be able to see a bunch of ...videos? XBOX360 is not powerful enough for the producers or something?

Welcome to the Steam era. Now on consoles too. Unfortunately people don't care.

There is always a way to bypass online DRM on PC games with only a few exceptions. Its an open platform. Is the server down for a particular game? A crack would allow you to play it without it. I guess that's why online DRM isn't such a deal breaker there?

So, people pay for games that they know they'll have to pirate it later on? I don't think so. My take is that they are blinded by the "social features" of Steam that they simply ignore the DRM part of it. Fortunately there are safe places like GOG where you don't need to worry about any of that.

I didn't say anything about pirating. Downloading a small crack for a game you bought, only so you can play it when the servers are down, isn't piracy.

Also Steam is a very different thing than XBOX One. First of all, its free, you don't need to sub. The games are cheap. It supports modding. There is also an offline mode which works good for most people. Also its not mandatory, most games can be bought outside Steam and there are alternative/competitive platforms too.

    I want the xbox 0.52, mark 2.

Now that we have a xbox and xbox one, we should add the following completely unrelated and original consoles to add to the confusion:

    xbox 1
    xbox I
    xbox first
    xbox won
    xbox juan (hispanic edition)
