Doesn't look great to me, but still better than Sony's at least. (shame, since they have the most accessible placement for a d-pad) I liked the Duke's dpad, personally, at least the feel. (never really used it heavily in-game)
They never stopped posting transistor counts, really. FX81xx is 1.6 billion transistors (not sure about Piledriver), Hexa-core Sandy Bridge E Core i7 is 2.27 B (quad core E is 1.27, quad core non-E -LGA1155- is 1.16 B), Ivy Bridge quad is 1.4 B.
The Trinity APUs are 1.3 B.

It's still an hassle for the legit consumer.
It's also unnecessary. The games are cheap at very specific promos, not all the time. Modding support already existed before it.
Even if that was true (which many would disagree with), you still need to activate your game every time you install it, and thus be dependent on their servers to play a game you legally bought.
That's not true. Most games sold on other plataforms still require Steamworks, even on retail (which is absurd).
Like Steam, with the new Xbox they control how and when you play your games. You are tied to their server and their rules.

Steam games are cheaper than console games, even the new ones.
Look, i'm not saying i like steam. But it is superior to what XBOXone is going to get. My point was that many people try to defend Microsoft by saying that its just like steam. Well, its similar but its inferior. And even if it was the same thing, consoles don't need it.

Sega, It's time to make a new system..
Not going to happen anytime soon because Sonic is too busy bending over for Mario. Although it would be wise for Sega to release a gaming PC like the rumored Steambox. Sega already has a rich library of western PC games, they can just add bonus Sega specific titles, features and DLC along with mainstream PC titles. But what do I know, I'm not a gaming executive making over $100,000 a year. I'm just a burnt out over the hill Sega fan.![]()
I figured they were posted somewhere, but I went straight to the, er, Bulldozer's AMD page and it wasn't readily available. Mainly I just haven't seen marketing performance or marketing in general centered around number of transistors in a while. I must have missed it because I always read as many benchmark comparisons as I can rather than marketing sheets, comparing prices, and making my decision based on that.

These are perspectives and reactions from Destructoid journalists that actually play video games. Though they work for the same website, they aren't all the same, cookie cutter, video game enthusiast.
Here's another reaction video that many are agreeing with:
