In all of the butt hurt fanboy drama I didn't hear or see anything about this:

Was it even at E3? I also saw an Android controller at TRU recently that tempted me to start looking more into Android games. Anyway, do we have any thoughts? Any at all?

My gripe with Android is its fragmented nature. Several high-profile games don't work on my Kindle for some reason. If the Shield does well hopefully more tablet manufacturers would include basic controls with lower-end models. There've been already several gaming-enabled tablets out there but Nvidia is trying to up the stakes. They even make GTA clones for Android/iOS now.. the mobile market cannot be ignored any longer.

At $300 it's still expensive though. Sub-200 would be a good price point.

Okay, since I won't likely find anything else to play this Christmas this just made the top of my list. Sounds like they ditched Kevin Conroy though, that's a bummer.

Nope, he's still in there. Hints dropped by the devs are he's voicing an elder Batman, wither the game's a flashback or time travel's involved, have no idea.

EDIT: And yet this article contradicts what the what they originally said, fuuuck. Well that blows.

Huh, sounds like they're still working on it. That's okay. If they use Kevin Conroy to voice the "future batman" or even "The Bat" in general it would be good enough for me. The actual Batman story that makes him essentially possessed by Batman allows for all kinds of possibility of mixed voices. No matter who you are, over time your DNA gets rewritten to whatever Batman needs.

Either way, Kevin Conroy doesn't stop working until he stops breathing! Otherwise he was never Batman.

Well, the reviews are in and it looks like my initial impression of Arkham Origins was spot on. More of the same in a bigger world is the word. I will probably still buy it just to have a game to marathon through. This year has been dead to me, I'm playing through Populous the Beginning in its torrid PS1 version right now!

^More of the same sounds great to me. I totally forgot about Arkham Origins to be honest. I very much doubt my PC will handle it as it could the previous two, so I'll get the 360 version.

I just picked up the 360 version, mainly so I can trade it when it is finished. I hardly played Arkham City after finishing the main storyline, so I figure this one is a good buy and flip title. Maybe some part of it will hook me and I will get it on Steam later down the road. So far it is the same game with entirely new settings and enemies. I am enjoying it on Hard.
