All that extravaganza makes me wonder, where are the video gaming industry headed? As the time goes by, my classic games keep getting better and most of those next-gen stuff gets more boring and unattractive to me.

the extravaganza was just as much as when the first e3 started in 1995. stop living in the past. current gen games are generally a lot better then the classic games. but the best games ever made are classic games though. but something like dragons dogma is now in my top ten ever for sure and la noire, red dead redemption and soon gta 5 and the last of us will score high too. I also loved heavy rain and limbo.

Microsoft now certainly needs to rethink their DRM policy and fast. Or else they'll lose alot of hardcore gamers.

nintendo haven't had their heads screwed on basically ever. losing them would be as hurtful as losing a mosquito bite.

Yeah it looks slightly better than the Xbone but still meh. Quite pleased that most of it is in a matte type finish.

I didn't realize Sony would be charging for multiplayer on PS4. The chances of me buying one just diminished greatly. I realize most people don't mind paying for Xbox Live and it sounds like they won't mind paying for PSN, but for some reason, I just can't do it on principle. I hate subscriptions of any kind (including MMOs) because my gaming is sporadic. I hate paying for something I'm not using, which will happen a lot. If my gaming appetite was larger, perhaps I'd feel differently.

I may shift to computer gaming after the PS3 stops being supported (or if they try to start charging for PSN for PS3 as well).

Edit: Or maybe I'll go OUYA! I had no interest up until now, but the doors are closing on me for the major gaming consoles. For $99, I'd be willing to give the OUYA a spin, especially if it supports Netflix at some point.

Yeah, I seen that and called it as soon as he stepped out the car, the sawed off and the outfit was a dead giveaway, seeing the front of that falcon just confirmed it. Oh yeah Im definitely getting that game.
