The new company will be actively involved in home consumer game products namely, home game hardware, 2nd party electronic manufacturing, mobile phone SKU hardware, NEW Arcade hardware, Theater, Restaurant and Hotel Resorts franchising with existing worldwide brands, Party supplies, Luggage, Ceramics and many other businesses outside of gaming.

SEGA will find profit in markets in AND outside of gaming.

Plus they're working with Toshiba and Pioneer on new Optical media format.

Mr Sega, what is 2nd party, Sega Arcades ? Doesn't Sega make more money over the years from NON VG stuff than VG ? So they will break from Sammy like Atari US broke from Atari France ?

Second Party in manufacturing, selling,supplying parts and supplies for popular electronic brands. Its also when a company is permitted to sell electronic SKUs in non reciever display terms.

In layman's terms, a 2nd Party brand is involved in OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturers) & and its permitted to sell basic electronic accessories or regular apparatus units so as long as their licensed by the 1st party owner.

So Mr Sega, Victor JVC Wondermega/X Eye (why is called different, same legal reason MD Genesis is ?) 2nd party, they had a chip or sound stuff in Sega 16 bit era so they are 2nd party ? Also NEC had a chip in Genesis (Dreamcast too I think) and machine (TG16) out at same time, so they were 1st and 2nd party ?
