Sega had delayed plans to renovate the property in early 2008.(The plans had actually started in late 2005) They were able to resume those plans 2 years later.

the Yokohama City Land Development Corporation for blocks 55,

purchase of block 58 has been withdrawn. As a result, at the end
of the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008, SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS

contract with the Yokohama City Land Development Corporation

which it has so far been cooperating, including the City of Yokohama
and the Yokohama City Land Development Corporation."

The original Joypolis was deactivated in 2007. The Virtual Zoo is on the EXACT same property. Which is Odeibei district of Yokohama. The decision to what them they wanted themewise for the property, was decided in mid 2010.

That's not Sega Entertaiment Corporation's page. That's Sega Corporation's domain being used under its Amusement Facility Division. SEC is part of Sega's Amusements. Its a new division of Sega Corporation.

In reading all of SegaSammy's past IR reports and the 2008-2011 CSRs, I've noticed that the wording,strategy,business platform and structure were all consistent. Back then, I probably should have told myself that Sega at the time wasn't planning on changing those policies then, in 2009-2010, I would have layed off the rumors.

But l digress. This year's IR report tells a completely different story. The strategy is radically changing and the business platform goals are looking more and more different.

I know that I'm on to something big. Maybe I shouldn't have read too much into the patents and Ring series stuff back in 2009, and should have noticed that SegaSammy's IRs were saying the same thing they had previously.


That's why I'm having difficulty getting people to research and read the clues and evidence. I unwittingly cried "Wolf" 4 years ago. Now, its obviously the real thing, but since SEGA's so damn unpredictable, there's no telling when EVERYTHING will be discussed publicly. Tomorrow is the Shareholders meeting and CSR, but will SEGA finally address publicly why did they file 2 brands with the same name and trademark 500 different products come July 9? That's all fine and dandy, but it's still just a bunch of speculation that doesn't 100% prove what you are saying to be fact. It doesn't disprove the possibility that Sega is just preparing to make more Orbi Zoos around the world either.
