A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."
I meant brand loyalty, but it does have something to do with country loyalty as well. I am no expert on the Japanese gaming market but it seems like they pretty much only buy Nintendo, Sony, and Squeenix, and the rest are left with the scraps.
I haven't had a problem staying above 60FPS since I upgraded the old PC to a 3.2Ghz X2 6400+ and Radeon HD 4850. The current HTPC obviously doesn't even blink at any PC games I have thrown at it. Most of these games were designed for the PS360 though, so I am hoping the new gen consoles push the HTPC and its octal core plus HD 7850 a little more. I might even pay full price, but I doubt it.

Ah, yeah, I haven't even tried demos for those yet. They need to stop increasing the graphics requirements and try fixing the unicycle physics first.

literally everything you say to badmouth sony is so full of shit. the japanese console market is dead. the ps3 sold very badly in japan and accounted for barely more than 10% of total console sales(almost all of them in first few years btw). you really want to argue that ps3 pulled ahead of 360 because of japan?
this isn;t the 90s anymore. japan hardly care for final fantasy anymore. I can't remember the last ff game that sold more than a million. I think it was ffx 10 years ago? so ms could try and get ff exclusively. it won't matter. they did with 360 they go last odyssey by makers of final fantasy and other jrpg;s and nobody bought the system.
Japan AND EUROPE, stoned sony lover. North America and Japan sales of PS3 don't even add up to what the Xbox 360 sold in North America alone.

that's not what you said. and that's eays to say considering 360 only really sold well in us. not anywhere else. and the us is the most declining market outside of japan. that's why ps3 is kicking 360's ass so much in recent few years
So, "apparently Europe will tend toward Sony as well" doesn't mean anything to you. Got it. Also, if almost 25 million 360s sold in Europe is bad sales, then the PS3 sold poorly in North America.

no because he said "will tend", as in something in the future
Not that it matters much since we're only a drop in the ocean as compared to the larger console markets,
