Ninja Gaiden was the most notable game for the system imo. I was also impressed very much by Riddick (much better than its Doom 3 port) and the Splinter Cell ports. Panzer Dragoon Orta and Dead or Alive series were great too. Oh and Silent Hill 2 is probably the best on XBOX since the PC version is somewhat buggy. I didn't care about Halo at all.

Other than that, the system didn't do much for me. I played with my PS2 and CG a a lot more. But it was (and still is) an amazing emulator machine for my CRT TV

The Otogi game was pretty awesome too, as are the games so far mentioned on this thread.

I still love the system one of the best consoles I've ever played and owned - What it lacked in numbers in more than made up for with AAA classics ..

Kung Fu Choas - Far better than Power Stone II imo

Ninja Gaiden - The best action game ever made

Riddick - Starbreeze at their supreme best

Outrun II - The best SEGA racer since Daytona USA

SEGA GT 2002 - The best racing sim of that Generation

O.TO.GI 1/2 Forget DMC series these games were far better

Oddworld Stranger - Like Shenmue II a magical and unforgettable game with a fantastic lost chapter too

Conkers - One of the best looking games ever made and also one of the best platform games around .

HALO - Amazing game with still to this day some of the best AI around.

    Orta - 3D shooter perfection

JSRF - So good, so SEGA

Crimson Skies - Sad we don't get more games like this now

Fable - Stunning art and a great RPG

Galleon - A rip roaring and brilliant adventure games - that was sadly overlooked and underrated

Mech Assualt 2 - One of the most fun mech games you could have
    Panzer Dragoon Zwei is
one of the best 3D shooting games available
    Presented for your pleasure

I love "Futurama" but that game was more annoying that it needed to be...mostly because of controls.

I'll list my favorite XBOX games (even if they are multi-platform or not)

Burnout 3 (with my all Prodigy soundtrack)
    Capcom Classics Volume 1+2
    Destroy All Humans! 1+2
    Evil Dead: Regeneration
    Gauntlet: Dark Legacy
    Outrun 2
    Outrun 2: Coast to Coast
    Ty The Tasmanian Tiger series.

I always wanted to try the Blinx series, but I was never sure how the controls were.

Seconded. They're painfully easy but very fun while they last.

The challenge comes from collecting the whatever (depends on the game). Or at least remembering where shit is when you get the right boomerang to go find stuff.

But that crab walker in 3 was stupid. I really wanted the truck back (even though it was trashed near one of the race levels).

Still waiting for somebody with the skills to mod my X-box.
I do like Baldurs Gate 2 and Blinx the cat though.
I haven't really given it much love compared to my other systems.
Been busy finishing my backups for the DC and PS1.
There are just too many other games to play for me right now.
I find may find myself a la Henry Bemis, old and alone, finally deciding to start playing my collection,
then the power goes out forever.
No! NOOOOOOOO! There was TIME now!........

The Xbox rocks. I'm still getting games for it dirt cheap. I got ten complete games at the flea market several weeks ago for $40. I still haven't played them all.

Haven't played Xbox since early 2006. I only had one for 8 months, but enjoyed everyday of it.
SEGA is the Messiah of Console Gaming.

In July 2013, Exactly 164 months after Dreamcast launched, something BIG will happen at SEGA. Which is "ORBI" the world.

All the NAYSAYERS will be silenced forever when Orbi get's its "Notice of Allowance".

I'm glad there is XBOX love out there. 'twas a fine system that brought much enjoyment.

And with those Outrun games, it felt like a Sega system at heart*.

*this is not an indication that I want a wall of text post discussing/linking to sites talking about any involvement Sega may have had with the XBOX system.

P.S. "Grabbed by the Ghoulies" is the most hilariously misappropriated game name ever.

I love Xbox, had a great time over at xbox-scene from 2003/2010 helping people get their emu's working.
and the game hacks were fun too, xbox homebrew really made me feel like I was part of a.. dare I say it.. family!

shame it all sizzled and died around 2010.

If you like NiGHTS on the Saturn then get this game because the Art direction and music (well SEGA did do the music) are straight from that game . Its just a shame like with Bug II on the Saturn that BLiNX is so dam hard (too hard for its own good) and the controls weren't made that little bit better . Shame because there's a real clever and nice game there trying to get out ...

    Some more top X-Box games

Full Spectrum Warrior - Fantastic war game where you have to think - looked and sounded brilliant at the time too

Buffy The Vampire slayer - Just a fun and well made game that's a joy to play.

Links 2004 - Great Golf game

    Rainbow 6 Part 3

MayPayne - Just awesome and the XBox was the best imo

TOCA II - Just so much fun on LIVE

Rallisport II- Brilliant rally game with the best backrounds to any racer from that generation

Steel Battalion - Just to start the game and power up the controller was an experience in its self .

You owe it too yourself to re-invest some time and money into the original Xbox. So many good games dude. I highly recommend it.
