    Looks like the Sonic cycle is back into effect again. Think I'll pass on asking for a ps360 port of this tosh.

    The PS2 was also backwards-compatible with the PS1, meaning that it had dozens of great games already out for it by the time it launched. The same thing happened with the PS3, when everyone went out and got one for its BluRay player. That's why you had this huge "PS3 has no games" meme, because people who would have waited for the games to come bought it in advance for the BluRay player. That gamble surely worked, as the PS3 and 360 are neck in neck this generation, where if the PS3 didn't have BluRay, I don't think it would have had 3/4ths the number of units sold.

    Sadly Lost World doesn't seem to be getting very good reviews so far. Granted, you can't always listen to the review but still...

    We all just got screwed again with no vaseline from good old Sega.

    Trust me, that 4/10 rating wont even put a dent in the number of little kids and hungry WiiU fans demanding it, and Sega knows this.

    And neither will IGN's 5.8 "A BIG BLUE SPEED BUMP" review. Link---->http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/10/...t-world-review

    Or Gamespot's 5.0 A lost cause. Link--->http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/soni.../1900-6415478/

    Yet another bad Sonic game after a medicore Sonic game, well.

    I hope the racing one isn't Wii U exclusive (seriously does anyone even have a Wii U?) because those games are actually enjoyable.

    That's a shame about Lost World. I would hate for Sonic to be a "has-been".

    At least Sonic Generations was pretty good. I'm starting to miss that quality and polish most Sonic games had from the 90's.

    Well that sucks for you, when Sega screwed me over they used vaseline.

    I can't help but laugh. Seriously how many Sonic games have bombed in the last ten years?

    When the game was first announced I was really excited, but when they released that trailer with the Wisps being revealed, I lost all interest. Still not played my unsealed copy of Colors yet, and I hated the Planet Wisp level from Generations, so gimmicky.

    I'll pick this years from now on the cheap (just like I did with Colors). Not at all surprised.

    I was leery about Lost World from the start, but people were all, "it's what Sonic X-Treme could have been!"

    But the thing is I was never really sold on Sonic X-Treme being the right way to move the franchise to 3D to begin with. What little we've seen of it always looked really awkward to me, and so did Lost World.

    I'm kind of glad I decided to pass on the hype, not that I've been hyped about any Sonic game for over a decade. Maybe a little bit for Generations, which I did enjoy for what it was worth.

    This sucks. I am not really a Sonic fan myself but I still want to see the franchise (and SEGA) do well.
