You'll get some metro leftovers like the redesigned network panel and such. Plus you still have to replace all the default apps, and you probably have to apply a separate patch to remove the "retarded pre-login screen lock image" thingy.

Ah, thought so. I don't get why M$ couldn't just release a "7.5" edition of 8 (without Metro) and release the standard 8 along side it. Really don't understand their logic.

That's probably an Idea MS would probably implement if suggested, if they aren't already doing so in 8.1

I still wouldn't use the store unless the app/programs were cheap enough to justify the purchase through the store instead of from a website honestly though O.O
