The more the better, I can't wait for the cart prices to drop now, there was never even a real reason for it to be that high to begin with.
I think one day someone just decided to try and sell it for a higher price, got it, and everyone else has followed suit.
I can see paying 100-up for factory sealed Nintendo stuff, if it is old enough.
But a used, non-rare, hyped up, ok, rpg , is only worth about 20-40 bucks tops to me.
I'm sorry if you fell for the internet Earthbound Highway Robbery that occurred.
You should have known better though.
I'm also glad I didn't take advantage of anyone this way before, I kept my so-called rare expensive games.
I wonder what will happen if a LOT of the Super Mario World carts internal battery corrode the game to unplayable.
Will they begin selling working ones for $200 dollars?
Do your self and the retro community favor and don't buy a game that is too expensive, we shouldn't encourage these rip off agents on the internet.
I suggest that no one purchases a physical copy of EarthBound priced more than $20 or bids more than $20 on a physical copy of the game with a starting bid less than $20. If enough folks resist the urge to pay more than $20 on those copies, the sellers who priced the game more than $20 may consider lowering their prices.

I dont think the cart prices will be dropping at all,their is too much demand for the physical cartridge.

I bought a loose cart around 2006 for about £70 and i only got around to playing it properly last year,i finished the game and i thought it was brilliant.

For people seeking the cart..what are the odds they also own a WiiU to get Earthbound alternatively for VC. It wont make much a difference in terms of whatever X value of the cart is now. However if they have it on regular Wii which i'm not getting hopes up to actually happen. Then maybe there will be more impact...

As shocking as this may be, this is my first downloadable title for my Wii U. And of course, I went with a Deluxe unit, so I have access to Nintendo Network Premium.

I'm having n00b issues with it, though. When I sign in, it tells me I have to wait 24 hours after my first downloaded title in order to take advantage of the program. Is this normal?
