Die Hard is a solid NES game, despite the price and AVGN's review. Really fun game. Lots of replay value too.
Iirc, It's US release was exclusively at, of all places, Toy's R Us. That could be part of it.
Not only die hard, in general all the nes titles (and dont start with the system) are insanely expensive
too old for video games huh?
Avgn inspired hipsters. Avgn, his fans (many hipsters), and other reviewers that were "inspired by him" (many hipsters) drove the Nintendo market up.
" I don't know who is the bigger scumbag: James Rolfe for supporting this ass-hole's kickstarter to scam people, or Greg Pabich?
Fuck you, James Rolfe. You're a douche bag hack for even supporting Greg Pabich. "
" Honestly, what did you expect? They promised they'd fix the glitch that didn't allow to advance to the next levels. They never said they'd fix any of the other bugs.
So, bashing Pabich for the fact that the game still sucks, is stupid. You should blame yourself that you even decided to back that retarded project that never should have existed in the first place. "
I heard Pat Nes Punk or Mike was on Pawn Stars, that true ? Link ? What's next, Irate Gamers props on Toy Hunter ?
Wow. See it's the ones who were inspired by AVGN and now have their own shows (2nd generation, if you will) keeping prices up.

Okay when I tried looking for "NES carts Pawn Stars" before on History Channel Online, the player tried to load it, but it didn't play. I'll try again on youtube or something.
Edit. Found it, it's Season 4 Episode 13, "Room and Hoard". Was only 5 months ago I guess. Best youtube footage below, others are being recorded as their tv is playing it from cable.
Maybe he was better bringing avgn there, at least he can semi act.
Here is why I don't like searching youtube first, bad quality many times.

Eh, I think Pat is a better performer than James, if for no other reason than because Pat does not really have a "character" per se, whereas James is COMPLETELY boring and uncharismatic outside of the nerd role.
What ruins that for me is that Pat is pretty famously proud of those games - no way he'd sell them at what I imagine to be the peak of his popularity. He just likes being on TV.![]()
Yes but Pat sits there and nods his head 10 times with that fake weird looking smile and bug eyes every time someone was talking to him ha ha. Bad acting all around there from everyone. Pawn Stars was hammered when it first came out anyway as being a meh reality show with just some history nuggets thrown in because of channel it aired on anyway.
That's why I just stick to The Game Chasers. That's a reality show.
Well, being at the peak of one's popularity is a pretty subjective concept. He's not that popular at all, but I imagine this is about as popular as he's likely to get.
