Of course they did. It's called "GameStop new".

Mine came sealed in shrinkwrap. They only remove the shrinkwrap and disc for the display copies. If they have more in stock than what's on display they will typically give you a new sealed copy.

That was also sold online by Game Quest Direct.

Yeah, it was a deal with Game Quest that licensed Guitaroo man and some other title, and sold a large lump to GameStop. I didn't know that Game Quest was also selling them online.

Where's the actual proof they're selling reprints as used? Why would they need to lie about it anyway? They make $80 off of it every time they sell it used, it makes sense they would try to promote the game. I think they've been hoarding up copies of trade-ins for a long time, because I've not seen the game in any store for a very, very long time.
