If Wii U had a lot of awesome games to play, it would still be competing with the Xbox 360, PS3, and future generation hardware. It's too little too late for Nintendo to get the masses, unless they heavily subsidize it and throw it out there at a competitively cheap cost. What they need to do right now is sell the Wii U for $179 and include Super Mario, Zelda, or even the new Sonic game with it. It needs to be heavily marketed with a shift to relaunching & relying again on the brand name "Nintendo" Wii U.
Nintendo's not dead yet, but it seems like they want to be.
