Modding Genesis VA7 with internal power/av/region/audio/led

Just joining the forum and glad to be a part of it. I'm currently modding a genesis I had laying around with all the mods I posted in the title.

So far I've completed the internal power,av, and led mod. I'm getting the parts to make the crystal clear audio mod (or I'll just buy one).
But I'm having issues finding information on the region mod for the VA7 mobo. I've seen one video that gives some vague idea on what to do, but I'd really like some definite info if there is any to be had. Thanks for any help.
I'll post my progress so far. I use connector so it's easier to take the thing apart again. And the psu I picked runs at 12v 2a. I've been thinking about putting a larger one and modding it so that the sega cd and 32x can plug into the genesis.

Even if it's a VA7.... That poor Genesis...

And about that internal power supply... Why not go with a more efficient AC adapter?



Still rather impressive you got all that working, but I feel sorry for the Genesis...

I was going to do it that way actually. But i really wanted to try and have everything internal and flush. Didn't come out as good looking as I had hoped. Everything is soldered on, the glue is just to keep anything form coming loose and to keep the solder points from touching anything.

As for the ac adapter I needed something that would fit snugly inside.

Be aware that the PAL region switching does not work on the VA7, for some reason... Games will not have sound or glitch.
JP region mod should work though.

Thanks for that info. I guess I'll just get a megadrive then for pal games.
