    Lynx Lynx woes

...well, only a minor one. Bought an Atari Lynx II in nice shape recently, and it works/looks/sounds great. My girlfriend loves the damn thing for whatever reason, so batteries are gonna go quick. Bought the official AC adapter... and no joy. I doubt it's the adapter... and the only info I've seen even close was over at Atari Age where some cat bought two adapters for his Lynx and neither worked. Do you think the internal plug is borked? Is there an easy fix? Wishful thinking, I suppose, but maybe one of you tech gurus has experienced something similar...

Would try the typical re-solder/re-flow the dc socket in the Lynx. Model 2 mega drives can have the same problem.

thanks, guys. I'll definitely get a little multimeter to test the block (too much of a weenie to crack the thing open and solder).
