Default WTB : Decent Modded Snes/Famicom that runs all regions + expansion carts

WTB : Decent Modded Snes/Famicom that runs all regions + expansion carts

as the title says, I recently bought a modded PAL snes but 1/2 the time it doesn't come up in colour for japanese games and have to reset it a million times to get it to come up for some reason

Also tried running Rockman X3 which has the expansion chip and it didn't work at all =/ so I'm guessing yoshi island wont work too when I get it.

Does anyone have a nice snes/famicom in the UK or can post it from elsewhere that will work with everything? I'm really fed up with the amount of problems ive had with my NTSC Snes randomly dying and this one giving me problems already =(

Probably more than you want to spend but I have a SuperCIC region free snes with sd2snes flash cart available. The cartridge slot will need widening if you want to fit the US cartridges. I didn't widen it because i don't have any US cartridges for reference. Its currently for sale on Amibay.com (click to see the thread with pics). Price is £130 plus p&p

    **EDIT**

    Sorry this machine just sold
    Good luck with your search

Are you basically just looking for a working NTSC SNES with the tabs removed so that JP games can be played? Or do you want something with like a video mod as well?

if it can be used with a UK plug then I'd take that actually

    or a reliable step down

cause I had one but it stopped working after a while for some reason

how much would that set me back with postage? :/

I just really need the Console + Power cable (would really prefer a UK power cable)

or if anyone can recommend a reliable UK replacement adaptor

Just be aware of the us snes and it's weird and wacky dc plug, so you would either need a/a us snes power supply to donate it's lead (they are just screwed together) or b/a busted pal snes to donate it's av/power port.
Thank you for donating to the Sega 16 bit manuals!

What is the current in the UK? if it's 220v. you'll be fine with the adapter I have, shipping to the UK will be around $30-35 USD.

I know about the crappy US Snes input it has, its just that I had a stepdown and my last US Snes graphic / memory chip somehow just randomly went crazy

so I'd like to avoid using my stepdown, have a proper AC Adaptor thats UK 3 Pin.

I also want to avoid soldering myself =/

    UK is 240V

I *might* be willing to sell my modded Super Famicom. It's got both 50/60 Hz and lockout switches, AV jacks in the back and the cart slot is trimmed to fit American carts.
