Throw in the Street Fighter Zero/Alpha titles (there's SFA 2 Gold as well on Street Fighter Collection 1, which is a better version of Alpha 2 IMO).
Just wanted to point out that the bolded game is Galactic Attack.

And yeah, I can get behind the first two Capcom Generation games as well. I'd say get the XBox versions of the two Capcom compilations, since the first one basically is all five of the "Generation" packs, plus more games, but the Saturn packs are done well if you don't have an XBox, PS2 or Gamecube (though more expensive to get even just the first two). I liked the Alpha games as well, (mostly 2 Gold and 3), so I'd throw another vote behind them too.

I've come to find that VING may be my favorite publisher on the Saturn. Too bad they didnt do more games, or get them released in the west
Of course it is thanks to the source material, but the cover art for those games is super!

I used to play my USA Saturn all the time back in the day, and so I have a general idea of some games I want to get again, but there is a lot out there, especially the Japanese release stuff, that I don't know about. The point of me buying the Japanese version in the first place was to play a lot of those cool Japan-only releases that everyone seems to talk about. The first that comes to mind I'll be getting is Dodonpachi, but other than that, I'm kind of out of the loop on what's good out there. I'm also interested in USA games too...really any game that is fun to play. I know there are a lot of experts out there, so any advice is appreciated

Watch the Sega Saturn Game Sack episode, they go through a ton of good games there, the only thing that might let you down is that collecting games for the Saturn is a bit like purchasing gold.

Don't forget Castlevania - Nocturne in the moonlight. Improves on the PS1 game in some ways. Worst in some ways but gives you new things to check out if you played the PS1 version to death.

Be sure to invest in a Pro Action Replay Plus or a clone. And if have the urge to play games on CDR, grab one other these---> http://www.racketboy.com/store/sega-...n-modchip.html

Mizubaku Daibouken/Liquid Kids is a great title if you have the money. All the Ving published Taito ports are worth it. Perfect ports to the core plus they did some of the better Taito games from the days. I can't recommend enough of Elevator Action Returns. It's on my top five favorite platformer-type games.

I think Saturn collecting is nowhere near as bad as collecting Japanese Megadrive games.

Yeah, the expense of Saturn collecting is exaggerated. You might be paying "new" prices ($50-60) for most of the best used games, but only a handful are highly inflated. And then there are plenty of games worth playing in the $10-30 range.

Hansha de Spark is a game that is barely mentioned but is quite unique and fun. Very challenging though, I've never made it far into the game.
It is also 4-player capable, and one of the few games that display in Saturn's hi-res mode.
