Looking to buy a TG16 with the cables and at least 1 controller. I would like it to come with a game or 2 and the multi-tap but it's not required.

You may want to bite the bullet and get a Duo, modded at that. An OG TG16 only outputs R/F which looks like crap and nets you MONO sound. You would then have to mod it for Stereo sound and composite or purchase a Turbo Boost which is at least $60 on top. Then again mod it for Japanese games which by and large the only reason to own a TG16/PCE is for the foreign game library which is vastly superior. Then you are going to want to play CD games which again a working TG16 CD unit is extremely expensive especially after repairs and then you will need System Cards just to play these games, Cd, Super CD, and Arcade cards (Arcade card needs a region mod to play)
Or just get a Duo, which out of the box plays all CD Games save for Arcade titles, an Arcade Card Duo is only $40, and it already has Stereo and A/V out. Mine is modded for S-Video, looking into converting it to Component.
Yeah, save up and go for a Duo-R
Modded Duo-R is the only way to go with the TG-16. That way you can play all of the games that you really want to play on the system, without trying to hunt down a ton of expensive peripheral crap.
I Agree with everyone else go with a Duo-R. if you should however find a Black Duo for a cheap price and your good with a soldering iron than its always a good option to keep in mind.
I actually have a TG16 and a couple of games I bought originally but after I
Got my duo it just sits. It even came with a boxed Turbo Booster which is almost as big as the unit itself. Man I spent hours on The Legendary Axe II. What a game.
