Sorry for bringing up this old topic, but I just saw the first in-game videos of Broken Thunder on YouTube. And I can't help but say that Broken Thunder is indeed, broken. There's very little, if at all, that reminds me of the classic feel of Thunder Force.

I know I shouldn't expect a professional Thunder Force game but considering some former TechnoSoft members were behind this I've expected a lot more than what I've currently seen in the videos. The models are an eyesore, both in colour and design, and the game's quite short (5 levels), and worst of all, the gameplay is very, very dull. There's absolutely nothing going on that would make your adrenaline pump. Overall, it feels like they've spent more time on that PV than on the game as a whole.

Maybe I got my hopes up too much. That's what you get for reading about its release combined with that cool looking promotional video. Makes me worry about Thunder Force Forever.
