Focus. Control. Conviction. Resolve. A true ace lacks none of these attributes. Nothing can deter you from the task at hand except your own fears. This is your sky.
Yea, but I hear it's still pretty rewarding if you can get into it. I never understood the arrow controls on the SNES version. It would have been great on the PC with a mouse, but if I'm not mistaken the SNES version is exclusive to that system. Also, I don't think it works with the SNES mouse either.
The SNES version, although I've never played it, is regarded as a bit of a classic. I think they developed the entire game in 9 months as well which is impressive going for an RPG.
Shadowrun on the Genesis isn't THAT hard. Hack yourself a ton of credits selling stolen information from cyberspace, then trick yourself out and buy some tough pals. Game gets a lot easier then.
Yeah, thats the other thing - I have zero clue whats going on in the 'cyberspace' scenes. I float twards wierd shapes that attack me and after a couple hits I get kicked out and thats it.... I guess I'll just have to do it the old fashioned way - B & E the big corporation building, kill guards, take their stuff, sell it, etc...

It's all coded by colors and shapes. I forget the details, but it's not so bad once you learn them.
The only powers you want in cyberspace are mask and attack (whatever the name of it is). Upgrade them high as you can. Upgrade your board as high as you can. You should bring along a few other abilities as fodder for high-risk areas of cyberspace
I never figured out what to do in cyberspace too. But I never needed to be in there to complete the game.
Yeah I'll have to try that next time I get around to playing it. I'll do some digging to see what the difference in shapes, colors, etc are.

Don't let yourself get intimidated by cyberspace. When I first started, I was intimidated all to hell by it, but I learned.
Remember: Shapes and colors. Once you learn those, navigating cyberspace will be a piece of cake and you'll be rolling in nuyen. Don't be afraid to look up an FAQ.
