Agreed on what Zebbe wrote regarding the first, times 1000. I did know about the latter though. Just that I wasn't done compiling my lists of homebrew stuff just yet.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

I really wish I (we) had more time to work on this. But Sik and I are busy finishing overdrive for the cartridge release, as we must get it out in time for christmas.

Very pleased to hear that Project MD is still at least in the pipeline!

There's also that Pringles game, by a programmer whose username I'm still trying to parse. (Is it a pair of adjectives? A set of instructions in the imperative tense?)

Be a good time for Project Y team to get a short video or demo bin out for Joe's video in December to build hype too.

WOW! Wait, so not only are you still considering continuing work on Project MD (which is FANTASTIC news) but also you're working on a cartridge release of Overdrive ?

Where can I buy my copy ?

Wow! Titan Overdrive looks freaking cool!

Daaamn, that's some crazy cool stuff there. First time I've seen this Titan business, and it looks awesome. I sure hope some of those effects make their way into a game sometime soon.

Project MD looks beautiful in most respects but I hate the main character sprite. It's too anime for that euro computer games look you've got going on. The lasers and electricity balls don't look right either. Don't mean to nit pick but it's the difference between it looking really good or a bit of a mish mash.
