I' trying to figure out how to make this schematic and want to make sure im understanding everything correctly. I've seen a layout done for strip-board but it seems very inefficient to me.

This is what I figure it's supposed to be if i were NOT have the LED indicator, so I wont need to connect d6-s1 to the power and resistor. D being dreamcast, s being SD card. Thanks for your help

d3 d8 s3 s6 both caps to ground line (motherboard?)
d4 to s7
d5 to s2
d6 to s1
d7 to s5
d10 to s4 and to both capacitors



but this schematic of the stripboard does things a bit different and I dont understand why the differences
d3 and s3 are directly connected, d8 and s6 are connected to the caps, and I don't see any pin going to ground either.
