    This is something I had to do as well (before opting for a DVDO iScan upscaler), but I got it pretty close.

    I feel the same way. I was just going to blame it on the Genesis video encoder. I didn't know the converter had pots for adjustment inside. I'll have to tweak those to see if I can get them close cause' I'm not very happy with it right now.

    Keep messing with the pots inside those encoders, guys, I got mine showing perfect colour in the end. When I first received it it had a nasty green tint but tinkering eventually fixed the issue. Also lifting the pin inside the console to significantly reduce those jailbars, as well as using a synced scart cable. I believe I heard this process kills composite and S-video, but as you can imagine, I'm not too worried about that.
