I hope y'all don't use "motion flow" or whatever the particular TV you have calls it. Motion Interpolation is pure evil. It's the mode where it makes up frames and fills 'em in between the real frames. So a 24fps movie looks like 60fps or higher. HFR in itself (ie: The Hobbit) is awful and looks like the TV news but fake HFR is even worse. Turn that shit off and let games and movies all run in their native frame rate. They had Star Wars I running on some TV in Best Buy tonight and everything was 60+fps except Jar Jar who was all jerky because the TV couldn't figure out how to interpolate his motion. Lame. And it's not just this movie. Like I said turn that shit off or I will ban you.

Agree 100%. I turned it off on my set. I turned it off on my brother's set too, but didn't even notice. There's this push in hollywood/movie industry by a few people with power/say, that want to move away from 24fps to 30fps. That REALLY pisses me off. 24fps is golden; don't fuck with shit. I've always hated that voyeur look in motion. You can't cheat by shooting 30p and down framing to 24p (vector motion blending or not); it just doesn't look the same.

Sadly yes, last Month was their last official production month for their Plasma lines.

End of an era. I've been on the fence with Plasmas since they first came out. I don't know why, but they always had very realistic looking motion and colors. Why is that? Maybe it's the flickering.

My Model 1 HDG Genesis, non-TMSS, via Composite on my 60 inch LG plasma. I have since tweaked the picture and it looks even better (for composite).
