Galaga Pulstar - Neo Geo Soundtrack & game rocks!

Man, I just got into this game just yesterday and it's fucking brutal but also so beautiful to look at and listen to. I hear that this game is one of the few shmups on the NEO GEO that really showed off the system's capabilities. Don't know if it's true or not but I sure am impress as all hell.

How do they make the 3D stuff? I thought the Neo Geo couldn't do polygons.
Is that an actual FMV intro where the craft launches off from?
With professional game developers, which of the 3 had a possibility to get this game ported to? (MD, SNES, OR PC-ENGINE)

I can't seem to find the complete soundtrack of this game AES version in MP3 format but was able to get a hold of the CD verison

Most people prefer the CD version soundtracks

It is an awesome game and as far as your questions...I don't know.

If you ever get a Unibios in your AES or MVS, Razoola put in a Jukebox feature that lets you sit back and just listen to the music.

All the neo can do is tons of animation instantly so basically sell those images are simply pre rendered. However I've seen some people do 3d stuff on the neo, idk how. I have Pulstar too on my 4 slot. It rules.

I seem to be the only person that absolutely hates this game. Music is pretty good though.

Everything other than scaling is pre-rendered in Neo Geo games. This game is no different than Donkey Kong Country, except that it's a legitimate use of cgi (lots of animation) and not simply a stylistic one.

The PC Engine Arcade Card CD is the only format this game would plausibly have been ported to. If Nec hadn't pushed the switch to PC-FX, then it likely would have. Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire already shows how well it could have turned out.

I was disappointed by the soundtrack, as I wanted something more like R-Type and am not a fan of kind of style. Very cool game though.
