I really need to catch up on my Dreamcast library. I don't have that many games for it.

The Saturn is really nothing more than a cult system. It stood absolutely no chance against the Playstation. Most of the best games for the Saturn are imports I may add, as well. The Saturn is nice and all, but it needed more damn games!
I think you meant to say, the Saturn needed more US releases. In Japan the Saturn saw around 1,000 games.

Although, despite the common misconception, the Saturn had quite a nice library of domestic releases as well. They weren't all in Japan nor were the Japanese games all the best ones.

    Hmmm, let's see:

    Marvel vs. Capcom
    Power Stone
    Cannon Spike
    ECW Hardcore Revolution

and my brother has some. I'm hoping I can eventually get that game for it called "Tech Romancer". It looks awesome. Anyway, I always preferred The Saturn over the PSOne. There were great games on there, and many great ones that never made it over here, like the Twinbee Deluxe Pack, and the remake of Rockman X3, which was never officially released in the USA until it was included on the Megaman X Collection.

how is cannon spike? ive been wanting to buy that for a while but can never find it anywhere. as for tech romancer, its definately a good game with a arcade feel to it. it does get alittle difficult as you progress through the game though, and there's plenty of unlockables including a short anime movie so it would keep you busy for a while so its worth it to buy if you can find it for under $30. also, I agree with you that the remake of rockman x3 for sega saturn is great, it had some excellent cover art as well. twinbee deluxe pack is a great game too.

They're great titles on the system, ain't they? Anyway, yeah, I really wanna check out Tech Romancer. It's by Capcom, it should be good. And Cannon Spike is great. It's sorta like Capcom's answer to the Justice League, but I don't like the roster they picked. I think I could've done better. They should've did something that they could make a series similar to the Justice League only with Capcom characters. I did something like this once, where the main good guys were:

    Megaman
    Protoman
    Captain Commando
    Jill Valentine
    Strider Hiryu
    Ladd Spencer (from Bionic Commando)
    and Arthur

    and the main villians were:

    Dr. Wily
    Wesker
    Commander Jones
    Bass/Forte
    Elecman
    Two P
    Bred

Two P and Bred were in there for the comic relief. They were the ones who always screw up a task, and goof off alot.

yep they really are great titles and cheap to buy as well, rockman x3 is one of my favorite megaman games and the japanese version has my favorite cover art out of all of the japanese versions of the games. just a shame that it was never released in the us for the saturn in the sega saturn days. capcom seems to have forgotten about the original megaman and megaman x in general these days. but can you imagine how butchered the american cover art would have been had it been released in the us?

I think I feel like having a quick round of twinbee deluxe pack right now, quite a entertaining shooter. I dont have enough shooters for the sega saturn yet though. but getting back on topic, yeah tech romancer is a great robot fighting game. it feels like playing a anime. you wont be dissappointed when you pick it up if you like fighting games with robots in them. the only problem with the game I have is that the middle and final bosses of the game are very cheap and a pain to beat.

cannon spike looked pretty cool from the screenshots ive seen, I might have to import it since I cant find the us version anywhere. wasnt megaman a playable character in it? ive heard he is and thats one reason id like to get it. your idea on a cannon spike series sounds interesting, cant go wrong with a decent character selection. I could be wrong but werent two p and bred from one of the final fight games? just asking since my memory is a bit foggy about that. what other games are you looking into buying for the dreamcast?
