You can call him whatever you want; he seems to be an asshole anyway.
He designed one great hardware for it´s time (the PS 1) and then did an okay job with the next two: powerfull, but a pain to code for as developers say.
He is said to be kind of despotic when it comes to hardware engineering, causing such over-complicated hardware architecture.
