There is such a thing as polygamy and open marriages, I'm afraid, and a lot of people are quite happy doing them. It's not out of the question for those sorts of relationships to be as commonplace as monogamy in the future.

Just noticed the influx of Updates on the Project; damn, if they had all this (the shout-outs, the Rewards-Chard, the VLogs) RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING, I guess this project would already be financed by now. After about two weeks there's just 1/4 of the goal in... doesn't look good, to be honest. Normally if a project of this scope doesn't net about half of the set goal within the first 48 hours, it usually won't make it.

Also, some of the new rewards seem a bit desperate; pay 1.000$ to get your face drawn in-game AND 10 lines of dialogue? I don't know, this doesn't look very appealing to me. Don't know about you guys, but to me crowbaring in a new character doesn't seem very sound for gameplay, story or atmosphere; and 1.000 bucks is still a rather hefty sum, don't know if that would be worth for me from a producer-posterity-credit perspective.

OTOH, there's still 20 days left to go; with a decent marketing push and a good final stretch they could still make it.

Probably not his fault but I remember hating how Snatcher was censored in America and had a lot of stuff cut out.

I think the extended intro and ending more than make up for the porn tape scene in Gillian's apartment Besides, I loved the way the game made fun of the censorship, I thought it was hilarious! The sexline made me laugh my arse off. If you think that Gillian was not a perv, you only have to see that part. I am sorry but I don't think changing Katrina's age was a big deal. It's standard practice. It was creepy enough that he was creeping around an 18 year old that just lost her father, being 14 would make it beyond wrong!

One thing I was never sure of though, is the US version more censored than the PAL version? When the game was released and Game Fan reviewed it, the review pictures showed Alice with no slit belly with intestines hanging out. Katrina's towel after the scene in Gillian's shower was also more "shaded" to remove her nipples showing through. If you hated the Mega-CDs censorship, I would advise you to stay far away from the Saturn version. Even FARTHER away from the PS1 version.

The thing is, when I bought my PAL version, none of that was censored. Alice had the intestines and Katrina's nipples showed through the towel. Jean Jack's famous decap scene was also intact. I think I was told years ago that calling one of the Konami numbers un censored the US version. The PAL version needed no such thing.

you realize that less than 1% of all animals on this planet are monagamous and mankind isn't one of them, in fact far from it. they are more like monkeys. there's a reason 7 billion people are on this earth and it's not exaclty because of sex with one partner (after marriage). until the mid 19th century monogamy was a non-factor in all of mankinds societies. there are tons of interesting lecture and documentaries on the matter if interested.
