Maybe one of you guys can help me with this...
Ive been trying to find an old computer game from back in the day. I remember it starting with you having your plane shot down in some sort of alien/robot/monster something or other invasion. You have a machine gun and gernades that I remember for sure, and you have to go around saving people, collecting power-ups, getting keys to unlock doors, etc. Its a side-scroller btw if that helps narrow it down. I remember this one level you had to fight this big purple monster guy, and if you could get up into the rafters above him you could just rain gernades down on him and finish him off real quick. Any of this sound even remotely familiar to anyone? Thanks!-Ben

It was a PC of some sorts I wish I remember... I know another game for the same system my friend used to play all the time was a fanboat racing game that was kinda wire framey and not all that fun....but there were some funny quotes that we always chuckled at in it... outside of that I got nothing....
