ok this is a real pain in the ass. I lost my translated scenarios that I burned some years ago and the files are on an old pc packed away. and even more annoying is how the sf3 translation team are so anti bootleg it's ridiculous. so I ask here.
I have the iso of scenario 2 downloaded. I have the patch downloaded. however in their faq is only explained how to apply patch to original cd. I don't have them anymore. I only have the original scenario 1. here they explain
1. Place the original game CD in an available CD drive.
2. Launch ISOMAKER 2.exe
3. Select the game CD you are patching and click the Make CD button.
4. Double click the drive the game CD is in.
5. Wait for all the Dos command windows to finish. Do not attempt any other activities while the Isomaker is running. This can cause errors in the ISO.
6. The SF3.ISO and SF3.CUE files will appear in the folder with the ISOMAKER 2.exe
7. Use Daemon Tools to mount the .CUE file and run with an emulator or burn the ISO to a disc for use in a modded Saturn.
now I was thinking maybe I could mount the iso into thinking it's an original cd? could that work? and would I not neet a cue file for that? I only have bin file and 1kb disc image files whateve rthat is/
