I'm telling you, there was no hateful attitude towards women in any level. He may have objectified them all to hell, but that's a far cry from hateful.

Also, DNF made me laugh out loud once, when Duke said, "Power armor's for pussies!" Too bad it was completely hypocritical.

Think about it this way, leaving out the story for now, would you have been more likely to play Duke Nukem Forever if it had the classic elements with updated graphics?

Sure, for the same price point I bought the version we have now, £1.

This game was gonna be dead on arrival either way following the Gearbox reboot regardless of if they modernized it or not

I love how people have the balls to call out Duke Nukem for being crass and tasteless considering how coarse entertainment (including many other games) are these days. Almost every other M rated game that comes out nowadays, is way worse than ole' tongue-in-cheek Duke.

Sorry OP, that bit was just way more interesting than the DH aspect. It's become somewhat of a trend to go all high and mighty on Duke Nukem's ass of all people. I find that slightly amusing.

I really liked Duke Nukem forever.....the Dam level was a bit tedious but everything else was fun.....multiplayer and multiplayer unlockables included. Me and probably 10 other people in the entire world still play online when it comes to mind. lol
