I like the SNES a lot but you have a better chance in finding bargin gaming with the MD/GENESIS
visually the snes was way better
audio wise snes was slightly better
gameplay genesis was better
titlewise the genesis was slightly better

so basically snes displayed there games better while genesis felt better if that makes any sense..

I remember as a kid i've played on the NES & SNES at other kids their homes but never craved me to have one.
But when i walked in a toy store where they had this demo TV & sega. Then i saw sonic running into the looping.. from that time i wanted the Sega haha.
Luckaly my parents bought me one. And i can remember the moment when it's connected to the TV in the living room for the first time very well hehe.

I think it's like cars... you can bitch about engine performence, sounds, handling what evers... but most of the time it's emotion.
Some one likes the SNES more ? Well good for him that he enjoy's it. Does he also has a Sega ? Awesome ! Play together or exchange cartridges for a week.

And here on this forum there are people who like the Sega 16bit machine. And may'be even other consoles..

I still don't agree. When it comes down to it, all video games and systems are cool. If someone had all of the money and storage in the world, they would have all of them.
