Hmmm, I don't "know" Tekken so well so he'd probably destroy me.

We've had some epic Real Bout Fatal Fury Special matches though. THINGS OF LEGENDS.

I'll play any fighter that's good, really. I just never have anyone to play against anymore. Street Fighter Alpha 1+2, King of Fighters 98, Virtua Fighter 1+2, Tekken 1-3, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom...

I'd like to try Fighters Megamix. That sounds like whimsical fun.

Not my top favourites but since nobody mentioned them yet I want to say I enjoyed and played many hours of Bushido Blade and Rival Schools on the ps1.

For Street Fighter Alpha 2 my favourite fighters are Rolento and Sakura. It's pretty scrubby but I love landing Rolento's custom combos lol, it's cheap but without it he doesn't have any effective tools to deal good damage. If I want to win though I play Ken or Rose
In Alpha 2 Gold Rolento sucks so I mainly have fun with Ken. Overall Alpha 2 was better imo.

For me: Alpha 2 Gold, Fighters Megamix, Samurai Shodown 4, KoF98 and Eretzvaju/Evil Zone.
Neo Geo games are technically 16-bit, but since they only started to receive near arcade-perfect ports on the 5th generation I think it's fine to choose them.

All this talk of Fighters Megamix makes feel i missed out on a great game. I played lots of Virtua Fighter 2 though so how does it compare? I remember I wanted to play it as a kid just because the fact you can play as the Daytona Hornet sounds ridiculous in a good way.

^its a lot faster then vf 2
it plays more like fighting vipers then vf

it has walled arenas and you can break all the walls and a fuck ton of secrets and extra's

it really is a great game

Never played it because I hated fighters with weapons. Same with Soul Caliber. I played those games but they werent my favorites.
