I fall on the floor? why do these bones fall sometimes? is the T-Rex supposed to show up? (didn't know the HW limitations)
What was I supposed to do?

Answer : Just jump down and throw grenades left and right till shit collapses.

I honestly expected a better boss fight then that shit.

How about the final boss of Shadow of the Beast? You just punch a giant foot. His lame attack doesn't come very fast and seems random rather than aiming at you. If you have more than a couple health left you can just completely ignore the attack and win by attrition.

You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.

Yeah I remeber that I thought here too that I did something wrong. Very lame boss and this lame ending. BTW: This Foot-Hand-Club-thing is storywise the same guy as the phantom in part 2. Really strange.

Not sure if it was underwhelming or overwhelming but I remember the last boss on Robocop vs Terminator on the MD taking me what seemed to be hours to kill. I think I only had the shitty pistol but it took endless amounts of ammo to finish him. Really got boring after ten minutes but it never seemed to end. Not sure if anyone else had the same issue but it was really quite ridiculous how long it took ;p

I will second Sonic game's bosses in general, but especially the final boss for Sonic 1. I always felt that elevator press thing should have been a mini boss fight, not a final battle. The giant robot following mecha Sonic in Sonic 2 is probably the best final Sonic bosses until the Adventure games.

Shadow Dancer's final boss stands as one of my all time favorites though. I spent multiple play throughs and countless credits memorizing those shadow ninja patterns just to get the boss himself enough times. Yes, it could have been better if I had to fight the statue directly, but it was far from the worst boss fight I have played.

You guys must be some tough MoFos to imply that any of the Sonic boss fights were easy. I guess I won't be messing with ya'll any time soon.

Has Mighty Max been mentioned, and does it count? If so, it wins by default.

Robotnik's Sonic 2 final boss form was super easy, you just had to recognize the (very simple) attack pattern.

You're seriously going to say that with that avatar, and Sandman in that game?

Heh, realistically Arkanoid's page 1 post should have been the thread closer.

First boss in Sonic 1 was quite easy. Hide under one of the platforms while the wrecking ball swings, them jump up and hit Robotnik while it's on the opposite side of the screen. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The first boss in Sonic 1 that gave me trouble was the Spring Yard Zone (#3) as I thought "wait a minute, taking the floor out from under me, that's unfair!" until I realized that he only went after the block I was standing on. After that, I could make him take out the blocks in whatever order I wanted and it made it much easier.
